Haul Out the Holly

"30 But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God  31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.  32 He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High.  The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob's descendants forever; his kingdom will never end."  Luke 1: 30-33

The Stoves household is buzzing with excitement!  It's Christmas time!

Little Mac is showing an unmatched enthusiasm for all things, "Christmas."
He loves to point out the lights on houses as we drive past, and he will let you know if they are on the right or the left.  He also loves to watch Christmas movies every day!  At this very moment, "Polar Express" is playing on our TV for probably the fifth time this week!

Big D is also busy taking in all of the sights and sounds of the season.
It is such a joy to watch him experience his first Christmas.

Last week we sat down as a family, on a comfy palate in the living room to watch our first Christmas movie of the year.  I would love to say that it was a meaningful, timeless classic...but alas, it was "Elf!"  Who doesn't love Will Ferrell acting like he is five years old?

We also enjoyed a fun, family evening of decorating our Christmas tree while listening to Christmas carols.
Merry Christmas!

A Fantastically, Fun Fall

"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven."  Ecclesiastes 3:1

As November draws to a close, and we enter the Christmas season, I thought I would reflect on all of the fun times we had this fall.

Big D attended his very first football game:  Auburn vs. Mississippi State.

Little Mac & Mommy continued to do at-home preschool.

 Big D learned to sit-up & crawl.

Little Mac & Big D enjoyed playing together on pajama days!

We made our annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch.

My Dad gave me my annual Halloween pumpkin filled with goodies!
YES, it is a Mickey Mouse pumpkin...and NO, I am not too old for that!

We attended my sister's Halloween Barn Party.

The boys had a great time Trick-or-Treating

We went to see Disney on Ice!

Clay had his very first choir performance at church!

We went to Auburn's homecoming game.

Big D experienced watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for the first time.

Little Mac enjoyed watching the parade with one of his cousins.

We also enjoyed sharing Big D's first Thanksgiving with family.

We hope that you all had a Fabulous Fall!
